Wanda is a Greenville native and a proud Furman Paladin. She spent her early career in education before transitioning to running Ponthieux’s full-time. Wanda is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet and was recognized as the Red Cross’s volunteer of the year for her outstanding commitment to community service.

What is your favorite part about working in a jewelry design studio?

I love getting to know our customers and hearing their stories that we get to translate into beautiful jewelry pieces.

What is your favorite gemstone and why?

An emerald is my favorite because I’ve always been drawn to its rich green color.

What do you do in your spare time?

When I’m not spending time with our family and wonderful grandson, I enjoy playing the piano and gardening.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I’ve always had a passion for teaching so I wanted to be a teacher.
